BAJZEL Live OUTSIDE | TP2
One Man Mad Orchestra - returns to ThinkPunk this June 30th
This is TP style - adhoc, crazy stunt with our crew preparing a free gig for the one and only alternative artists - one man mad orchetsra - Bajzel - who is coming back to play at ThinkPunk this TUESDAY 30th JUNE at 8:30PM.
The concert will be free and will be followed by a jam session at the studio. We will have a hat for donations to the artist circling around.
Zeropunkt Live at Think Punk — Two Sets, 30 May 2026
Dublin's underground improv four-piece Zeropunkt land at ThinkPunk Studios for two consecutive sets on Saturday 30 May — dark, freeform neopsychedelia, no setlist, no plan. Sets at 15:00 and 18:00. All ages. €10 + fees.
No setlist. No rehearsed material. Four musicians, a room, and whatever happens.
Zeropunkt land at ThinkPunk Studios on Saturday 30 May for two back-to-back sets of dark, freeform neopsychedelic improvisation — or spontaneous composition, as the band themselves prefer to call it. This is the kind of gig the building was made for: a small room, a serious quartet, and absolutely no idea what's about to happen.
Who's playing
Zeropunkt is a Dublin-based four-piece working in the open territory between free jazz, post-punk and deep psych:
- Fergus Cullen — saxes, keys, guitar, vocals, electronics
- Jamie Davis — drums, percussion, sax
- Damien Lennon — bass, bass VI, effects
- Hugh O'Neill — trumpet, electronics
They started in 2013 as ¡NO! and have been operating under both names since. Over the years they've played and recorded with a who's-who of underground heavyweights — Glenn Branca, Damo Suzuki, Kawabata Makoto, Itaru Oki, Alfred Harth — and put out fifteen albums across both monikers. Their sixteenth, Starry Dynamo in the Machinery of Night, arrives on CD on 18 May via Last Of Our Kind, which makes this a release-week show.
The touchstones they cite — Keiji Haino, Can, Cluster, The Residents, Miles — give you a sense of the terrain, but Zeropunkt aren't a band in love with their own influences. Every set unmoors itself within minutes and goes wherever it wants to go. The Irish Times has called them "the most enigmatic and uncompromising trio on the free Irish scene". We're not going to argue.
Why two shows
Because no two Zeropunkt sets are the same — that's the whole proposition. The 15:00 show and the 18:00 show will be two different pieces of music in two different rooms-with-the-same-walls. Tickets are sold per set, so if you want to catch both, grab both. Plenty of people will.
- Set 1 — 15:00 (doors 14:45)
- Set 2 — 18:00
- Duration — 1.5 hrs each
- Venue — ThinkPunk Studios, Dublin 8
- All ages
Tickets
€10 + €1.50 booking fee per ticket. Limited capacity. We recommend booking in advance.

TP2 - Pure Sine Wave // Photos + Thank-Yous
What a day. Pure Sine Wave came alive on 9 May as part of Culture Date with Dublin 8 — bands inside, DJs outside, a long jam after, and the extended TP tribe in full force. Thank you all.
What a day. Pure Sine Wave came alive on Saturday 9 May — and turned into one of those days that reminds you exactly why ThinkPunk exists.
First and biggest thanks of all — to Culture Date with Dublin 8 for inviting us in again this year, and to Late in D8 for the support that made the late-night side of this possible. Being part of CD8 means the world to us. It's the festival that lets a place like ThinkPunk open its doors to the whole neighbourhood — and lets the whole neighbourhood walk in.
From early afternoon till deep into the night, the studio and the garden became one. Inside — three bands and a long jam. Outside — all-day DJ sets, cozy seating, fairy lights, pizza, drinks from the neighbours. So many new faces, old members coming back, friends bringing friends. The extended TP tribe in full force. One frequency. All of us.
Inside · Live
GES — the long-awaited premiere by Grześ Witkowski with Thiago and Andre. A moment we'd all been waiting for, and worth every minute of the wait.
Jam Hades — Mark with Ciarán and Damien. Alt-rock / post-punk three-piece, raw and tight, the kind of set that makes the room lean in.
Ad Astra — José's brand new project with Natalia, Marcin, Pablo, José and Paul — a band born at our jam sessions, finally on the TP stage. Their second show ever, but the first one home. That's the ThinkPunk loop closing in real time, and it was beautiful to see.
The Open Jam rolled on after — loose and easy, plenty of familiar faces and a few new ones. Magic.
Outside · DJs
Kamil R aka FizzyWaters curated and ran the whole outside operation — DJs, sound, garden, vibe — sun-up to lights-out, eclectic sets all the way through, with:
FIZZY WATERS · GERARD BOZYK · INFLUX · LUCJAN FROYDOVSKY · KRIS · MD(AR) · VIKTOR MARINA
The garden didn't stop.
The Heavy Meitheal
None of this happens without the crew. Huge thanks to our Meitheal who carried this day on their shoulders:
Ania · Lila · Grześ · Przemek · José · Józef · Kamil R · Krzysztof · Maciej · Maciek Z · Paul · Steven · Tomek · Livi · Szymon L
And special thanks to Rascals Brewery next door, who supported us generously, as always.
A new drumkit (and more on the way)
Pure Sine Wave was the first proper outing for our brand new drumkit — and it sounded as good as we hoped it would. This is the first piece of fresh gear coming in from our Music Capital Scheme award, with much more on the way. Big thanks to everyone who chipped in to our GoFundMe — you helped make this real. (Full funder credit below.)

To everyone who came, helped, danced, jammed, mixed a drink, lifted a speaker, washed a glass, or just smiled across the room — thank you. You make these days what they are. See you at the next one. The doors, as always, are open.
With thanks to

TP2 - Pure Sine Wave
TP2: Pure Sine Wave is a one-day neighbourhood takeover at ThinkPunk Studios — an all-day indoor–outdoor celebration of sound, people and place as part of Culture Date with Dublin 8. Expect live performances, open jam sessions, DJs in the garden, BYOB vibes, local pizza and nearby drinks, all rooted in community, creativity and very good sound. Free entry, no booking — just show up and tune in.
After a huge success of the last year’s first Studio Open Day : TP2 - Patterned Turbulence we present you :
TP2 Pure Sine Wave a fundamental frequency of community, sound and creative chaos. One day a year we throw the doors of the studio wide open and let the whole neighbourhood in.
The doors are always open actually, but this one is special as onn Saturday 9 May, ThinkPunk Studios becomes an all-day, indoor-outdoor celebration of sound, people and place — our contribution to the Culture Date with Dublin 8 festival.
Inside, the studio transforms into a live stage. With GES + Jam Hades - performing on the night. There's an open jam session where anyone can pick up an instrument and join in. More acts TBA — all members, all friends, all ThinkPunk.
Outside, Our Own DJ department with FizzyWaters curate a full day of DJ sets in our ad-hoc garden — eclectic, non-stop, sun-up to lights-out. With:
FIZZY WATERS , GERARD BOZYK, INFLUX, LUCJAN FROYDOVSKY, KRIS, MD(AR), VIKTOR MARINA
Expect cozy seating, fairy lights, greenery, board games, pizza from the neighbours and local drinks available from Rascals Brewery and Stillgarden Distillery, both just steps away.
"Pure Sine Wave" is simple — one frequency, no distortion. That's the idea behind this day: strip it back to what actually matters. People showing up. Music happening. A space that belongs to everyone in it.
ThinkPunk is a grassroots, community-run creative studio in Dublin 8 — founded in 2020, kept alive by friends, members and artists from various backgrounds and mother tongues. This is nothing extraordinary - it is just a typical day in D8...until late. It's a neighbourhood gathering that happens to have very good sound.
Saturday 9 May 2026 · 4 PM – 11 PM Unit 4A, Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, Tyreconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin 8. Free · No booking · Capacity very limited and observed at all times.
TP2D8 | Episode TWO // Photos
Massive thanks to everyone who came out, supported, shared kind words, and brought the good energy. You make these nights what they are.
On the 1st of February, we hosted the second instalment of our TP2D8 series, with Vultures You Know and The Afterwardness taking to the stage. We were genuinely honoured to welcome these two outstanding Dublin bands into our space—huge thanks to the artists for delivering such impactful, immersive, and beautifully intense performances.
Massive thanks to everyone who came out, supported, shared kind words, and brought the good energy. You make these nights what they are.
This night wouldn’t have happened without our incredible stage, sound, and film crew: Michal Misior, Pawel Wach, Mariusz Dujka, Nina Lazewska, Tomek Rydzyk, Dawid Kondraciuk, and Maciek Pac.
Special thanks to Agnieszka Dujka for the stunning handmade stage props, and to everyone who pitched in, helped out, or sent good thoughts our way.
If you couldn’t make it—don’t worry.
Full video recording of the gig is coming soon.
In the meantime, here are some moments from this magnificent night of sound and atmosphere.

WE JAM (nearly every week)
We jam nearly every week — creating, playing and hanging out in a space built on community and music. Join us as a TP Supporter and be part of the vibe.
ThinkPunk is a place to rehearse, create, play — but it’s also a place to hang out… and play :)
Nearly every week our members gather to pick up instruments, sing, dance, and chill together.
Becoming a TP Supporter has its perks! It’s not only a way to support ThinkPunk CLG — it’s also a way to meet like‑minded people in a friendly, open environment, fully immersed in music and creativity, without any commercial twist.
Here are a few pics from one of those nights not long ago. Our friend Simon Łazewski popped in with his camera and captured the vibe beautifully :)
TP2D8 | Episode TWO - Vultures You Know + Afterwardness
The next wave is coming. After the explosive opening of TP2D8 — we’re stepping straight into Episode Two.
On 1st February, we return with the second iteration of our live series — If Episode One taught us anything, it’s that TP’s own AI — Authentic Initiative — is very real, and it’s fuelled entirely by you: our members, friends and crew.
What’s Happening?
This second instance of our live music series brings two incredible Dublin acts to the new TP home:
VULTURES YOU KNOW (VYK)
AFTERWARDNESS
Following the gig, all ticket holders are invited to a late‑night Jam Session
This continuation of the ThinkPunk journey of the same raw, unfiltered, community‑powered energy that defined the first night materializes in ThinkPunk’s live series - not just about music; it’s about our HEAVY MEITHEAL, about people building something together in the moment.
Tickets for Members — ON SALE NOW
The booking access is open exclusively to ThinkPunk Members, the people who keep the engine running and the doors open. If you would like to join us and become a member you can do so here.
Capacity in our new home remains intentionally limited — we protect the vibe, the space, and each other. Once it’s full, it’s full.
Live Music at ThinkPunk
TP2D8 is more than a series. It’s the rebirth of our live identity, something many of you waited for since the days of the red doors in JFK. ThinkPunk CLG was built to bring these nights back — nights where creativity isn’t performed at people, but with them. [thinkpunk.org]
See You on 1st February

What a night! Think Punk was alive with sound, and pure energy as BAJZEL and UnDestroy took the stage and turned it into something electric.
What a night! Think Punk was alive with sound, and pure energy as BAJZEL and UnDestroy took the stage and turned it into something electric. From the first chord to the last encore, the room pulsed with rhythm, voices, and that raw magic only live music can bring.
Some would have a real difficulty to distuinguish between the artists, stage, audience or the crew. Everything became ONE. We learned a few lessons this evening. First of all we realized that TP has developed its own AI. The hype that turned into reality so different, so true, unassuming and authentic. Our own AI - Authentic Inititative :)
Huge thanks to the artists who performed on the night of 21st Novemeber at TP2. Mesmerizing UnDestroy with Mark McMannus (Bass and Voice), Paddy Gilligan (Guitar and Voices), Ross Lee (Piano and Voice), Keelin Lee (Vocals) and Józef Rzepkowski (who never leaves a drumkit unattended).
BAJZEL vel Piotr Piasecki our dear friend and guest - a one man mad orchestra!
We also learned that night a new word from Gaelige - MEITHEAL which refers to traditional practice of community collaboration. This word we embraced and will keep on repeating when talking about our people, members, crew, friends. Best things that happen in ThinkPunk are coming from the c(u)ore. It is the sound of HEAVY MEITHEAL of Inchic(u)roe.
Huge Thanks to the CREW! Our Meitheal consisted of Michał Misior (who produced and directed our first awesome live stream in the new home!) and his crew of misfits: Pawel Wach (on roaming camera), Mariusz Dujka (on Stage Cameras), Tomek Rydzyk (Stage Technician) and Dawid Kondraciuk (Live Stream Sound Mix Engineer). YOU CAN REWATCH THE LIVE RECORDING HERE.
Big thanks to everyone who came, who helped, who smiled and danced. To all members and their guests. Thank you to Maciek Pac for coming in last minute and mixing stage sound. Special thanks to Simon Lazewski for huge help in getting this gig on track and looking after the artists, and most of all for amazing photo documentation of the night below.
PS. and YES we had our Friday JAM too! :)

And a teaser for the man himself:
BAJZEL + UnDestroy | Friday 21 Nov | 20:30
TPD8 Live Music Series opens with BAJZEL and UnDestroy. #core
On Friday 21st November we will mark the start of our Regular Live Music Nights followed by a jam session till late. We thought of no better person to open them than > B A J Z E L < who has been a guest performer in the studio for many years, with first gig back in 2016 in JFK (Gas Sound pre TP1).
BAJZEL is a legend of alternative music scene, performing around the world with his one man orchestra symphony of sounds and fun.
We are also excited to announce that one of our own Mark McManus will perform as part of ‘UnDestroy’ a three-piece from Dublin/Drogheda formed from the ashes of previous incarnation ‘Zorilla’. Piano, Bass and Guitar, whirling noises and accompanying voices are what comprises their sound.
They like to create on-the-spot soundscapes based on prior conversations. Their compositions mark time and space then drift off into the ether. Though hard to define, their sound is akin to a lounge lizard arguing with a rampaging buffalo, while traversing the perimeter of an extremely unsteady helter skelter.
Members are Paddy Gilligan (AKA Gillo) on guitar and voices, Ross Lee (Piano and voice) and Mark McManus (Bass and voice).
Their self-titled debut Album will be released on Zorillapunk Records in 2026.
NOTEs:
[Video Recording, Photography, Live Stream maybe in operation]
[Event finishes at 10:00PM Jam session will follow for active members]
TP2 Patterned Turbulence - PHOTOS
Photos from TP2 Patterned Turbulence on the 10th May 2025 as part of Culture Date with Dublin 8 Festival
On May 10th, we participated in the Culture Date with Dublin 8 festival, hosting our Studio Open Day from 10 AM to 11 PM. The event featured an incredible lineup of DJs, jam sessions, and a live performance by Lighting Phill in our ad-hoc garden. The beautiful, sunny day made the experience even more special, but the true magic was created by the community—a group of creatives from various fields who came together to bring this event to life.
Huge thanks to all DJ’s and performers for being part of this and making it so special!
Thank you to the core team of people that helped make this happen: Kamil R, Szymon, José, Maciek, Tomek, Ges, Marcin N, Felipe.
Here are some pics from the day taken by our own Simon Lazewski.
PS. If you enjoyed it and can spare a few € - we’d appreciate a donation towards the costs of producing this.

By purchasing this t-shirt you are supporting Think Punk CLG, the non for profit organization responsible for Think Punk Studios and BlueBellBeats Sessions.
Dear Friends! Thank you to all of you who have stayed around! It's been a while now since the red doors to JFK closed. But back then we have set up a non for profit organization under ThinkPunk CLG and have been planning on a revival for a while, mostly due to so many of you asking for the TP vibes to come back.
Hopefully we will find a place soon and will be able to build on the experience from the studios in JFK and make something even better, together. We are now gathering funds and resources to do that. Aiming to have a place by the end of 2024 and working out various paths to achieve that. If you would like to get involved please get in touch with us at studios@thinkpunk.org.
We do also have a small souvenir available via our website for hardcore members, supporters and fans. We have designed a first batch of T-Shirts and more are to come. With every T-Shirt around €9 will go towards the ThinkPunk CLG. Let us know what you think about the designs!
Think Punk Studios a platform for thinking outside the tank. Dublin based community of artists, creatives and audiences from various backgrounds, walks of lives and mother tongues.
Currently looking for a new home. Help us get a room!

ThinkPunk Xmas Xtravaganza - photos from the night
We knew that this was going to be epic. With such a vibrant and dedicated community we were expecting mighty craic! But what this turned out to be was possibly the best gathering of happy souls TP has experienced to date!
We knew that this was going to be epic. With such a vibrant and dedicated community we were expecting mighty craic! But what this turned out to be was possibly the best gathering of happy souls TP has experienced to date!
LIVE MUSIC
Our line up was the one to remember - with JAKUB & MARTA setting the tone and bringing some melancholy to the room, with stunning vocals and mesmerizing guitar. Followed up by LIGHTING PHILL a one man blues orchestra, who simply took over the space and filled it with amazement, some sort of magic, of a guitar, harmonica, charisma and power of his voice. Next up it was HEAT - five musicians, filled with positive energy and happiness, taking over ThinkPunk stage and owning the vibes that were shared by the audience, dancing to space funk. And finally BELLA with her TP XMAS ORCHESTRA and truly out of this world vocals, beautiful arrangements and freedom of expression. A cherry on the top, jazz and energy, fun and passion. Music for our souls.
DECKS
DjFizzyWaters made sure that the DJ room was hopping. Not only that actually Kamil R was also the one who prepared most of the snacks with his magic Chef’s skills. We had Steven on the decks in his christmas spirit you could easily trade Jingle Bells for techno and never go back.
With guest Dj’s and the crowd definitely wearing their dancing shoes our rehearsal space, formerly known as Kondysya was taken over by the Beat.
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
An event like this does not just pop up out of nowhere. It was the people who helped creating it, preparing, putting their heart into making it an experience to be enjoyed by everyone in attendance. Ania looked after the logistics of collecting hand made Pierogi (by Ashka) and helped with getting the food counter operational. She also brought the smile, the one that she always bring to TP, the contagious one. Silent heroes Gustaw and Marta fixed our table tennis table and made some essential repairs ahead of the gig, but most of all brought delicious pastries those that all loved with Jakub being the biggest fan. :)
If anyone ever wondered how to sound good, they should talk to Dawid. The man who is responsible for the signature sounds of TP, a passionate sound engineer, praised by all who were ever performing at TP. Sound Dawid. Sound.
There was also Tomek who gets his cameras to record nothing else but a proper document about this time, the time we are alive.
And then it was this beautiful crowd - all of you crazy people, we thank you for being part of this journey with us. Keep on rocking!
MEMORIES
We all have our own. Some may have them a little bit blurred though, but surely the memories were good! Nonetheless we are blessed with Simon Lazewski who is our resident photographer and each time there is something going on in the studios, he takes his camera and turns our reality into beautiful memories. Btw he was also the one who cleaned the toilets and mopped the floor before the gig :). Pure Soul. Pure Art.
Here is a selection of the photos from the night by Simon! Enjoy!
